Tasting Notes

Gold Medal winner at the prestigious Decanter World Wine Awards 2025. A delicious blend of Sémillon and Rolle, the Grande Réserve from Domaine La Rouillère offers a powerful, complex, and balanced profile. Its delicate nose of pear and nectarine then reveals notes of vanilla and hazelnut, adding further indulgence. A subtle and well-integrated touch of oak enhances the whole. The attack on the palate is supple and ample, with aromas of white flowers, honey, and a certain elegance accompanying the tasting. The finish is supported by smoky and saline notes, as well as a lovely freshness that makes the mouth water and invites further enjoyment, especially with a meal. After six months of aging in French oak barrels, the wine possesses a beautiful richness that perfectly complements the vibrancy of the coastal terroir.
